The KTM 390
Every rider gets the same type of motorcycle: a KTM 390 Adventure R, professionally maintained, uniformly equipped, and thoroughly inspected before every tour. By placing every rider on the same platform, we create a more consistent, enjoyable, and safer riding experience for everyone. Riders benefit from similar performance, handling, suspension travel, and fuel range, allowing the group to ride together more efficiently while our guides can better anticipate the capabilities of every motorcycle on the trail.
About Our Bikes
The KTM 390 Adventure R is one of the most capable and accessible adventure motorcycles available today. Light enough for newer riders, tough enough for serious terrain, and equipped to handle everything from smooth mountain twisties to rugged gravel logging roads — it’s exactly the right bike for an ECAT tour.
- Approx. 375 lbs (wet) — light and maneuverable for all rider sizes
- Low seat height (~32.5–33 in) — accessible for shorter riders
- Street-legal and capable on gravel, dirt, and well-graded trails
- 2024, 2025, and 2026 models in fleet — all uniformly equipped

All motorcycle rentals are handled through East Coast Adventure Tours. Bikes are serviced between every tour, so you can count on a reliable, well-maintained machine every time.
